Step #1. Launch Messages app on your iOS device. Step #2. Next, open any conversation. Step #3. Now, you need to tap on the “i” button at the top right corner of the screen. Step #4. Next up, turn on the switch next to Hide Alerts. Step #5. In the end, make sure to tap on Done at the upper right corner of the screen. That’s it! From now onwards, the alerts from this conversation will be hidden.

If you happened to change your mind later and wish to show the alerts on the screen, you can get it done with ease. Step #1. Open Messages app → Conversation in question → “i” button. Step #2.
